A Year Plus
It’s January, 2026.
We’ve arrived here—and the journey continues.
The Meadows opened in June of 2024. We celebrated with a rockin’ birthday party this past summer, and now we’ve officially been open for a full calendar year and then some. With that time has come a deeper understanding of who we are and who gathers here.
We now know more about who shops here, who wanders through, who comes back (!), who spreads the word, who wants to learn more, who hopes to sell their art, rent a studio, host a pop-up, or simply linger a little longer. We’ve learned so much—and we are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and care you’ve poured into what’s happening inside our little shop in this little town.
John and I love imagining the future of this space and dreaming up what could come next. Based on everything we’ve learned so far, we’ve been brewing some exciting ideas for this next phase of The Meadows’ evolution. From the very beginning, our vision has been to create a community-focused art space—one where people feel welcome the moment they step inside. A place that inspires.
Inspired to make a purchase, inspired to create something of your own, or inspired simply by the ideas sparked through the work on the walls. That feeling is at the heart of The Meadows, and it’s something I deeply cherish.
As we look ahead to 2026, here are a few things we know for sure:
We want to keep hosting community gatherings
We want to discover and support new artists
We want to redesign our interior to improve function and flow
We want to paint the exterior of the shop (!)
Executing these ideas thoughtfully and well matters to us, which means they’ll take time and care. But we trust the process—and we know the outcomes will be joyful, inviting, and worth the wait.
Thank you for sticking with us through a year (and more!) of Meadows world.
We truly couldn’t do this without you. 💛
