I’ve been working in clay for 50 years and still find new ways for clay to entertain me. My current direction in clay is producing soda, glazed high fire tableware. I incorporate a wood-fired kiln in this process. The wide range of firing outcomes keeps me excited about the final results.

Hopefully the fluid nature of clay is apparent to the eyes, hands and heart of the holder of my work. It is the creation of these pieces that drives and interests me.
